That is a Ju352, the last descendant of the Ju52. It was an excellent transport aircraft - it had a powerful hydraulic ramp at the rear that could lift the airframe horisontally. Only a few were built.

Sorry, but thai is not a CANT, it is a Caproni, Ca-133
The Cant had low wings and three blade propellers.

I have to agree with '1-0-9', the wreck apepars to be of a Caproni Ca.313 transport, one of two such types used by the Reparto autonomo di volo cinematografico in Bessarabia.

Can the date be pinned down? It must be sometimes in August 1941.

That's the prototype of the CANT Z.1007, powered by in-line engines.
The series manufactured units looked different, like this:

Hi there,

Can anyone tell me more about this picture - especially the airplane type? Was the plane in the picture a type used by the Romanian military in the 1920's?

The picture was taken on October 19, 1925, in the Dobrogea area.

The bottom of the picture has the following inscription:

Orta-Chioi, Dobrogea

"Ofiteri Divizia 10a si Grup 3 Aviatie pe zona manevra la 19-X-1925, de Lt. Observator Clopotaru Gr."

Standing next to the pilot are on one side Lt.-Colonel Avramescu, Chief of Staff of 10th Infantry Division, and on the other side the CO of the 10th Division.

The plane could be a french Breguet (two seater) biplane used by romanians in 1920's.
