Mihnea, can you tell me what type of flashlight is this? I have it from my grandfather and I could not find any markings on it.

It is Romanian post war as it has no markings and I've seen this type in many in antic shops.

There are at least two more types of Romanian flashlights made after the war: the first one is made from plastic or bakelite and is very similar with a German one that is very rare, it is marked EL-BA and below RPR Republica Populara Romania (Peoples Republic of Romania). The other type I've seen is a military one painted olive green it is very heavy and has no markings.

Today I almost finished the Dura flashlight but while I was assembling it the hinge broke so another problem emerged however I was able to take these pictures even with the broken hinge.

Mihnea good job restoring the Dura flashlight.

Here is my latest aquisition a german ww2 Daimon flashlight that I bought from an antick shop in Brasov.

How much did you paid for it?

I didn't tried it I don't know what tipe of batteryes to use. I payed 60 ron for it.
