Can someone identify the distinctive features of the 'Telge', the 'Carniol' and the other versions of this medal?

Hallo Gentlemen, ![]() technically the dates are not engraved, but hand stamped into the medal. The reason for this version, I am told is a few hundred of the earlier versions were produced with a design flaw (missing dates and word MELE) so the factory decided to hand stamp them, rather than send them back to be melted down. Variations in my collection:-
Number 1:- ![]() ![]() ![]() judging by the style of "court-mounting" ribbon I believe this came off a German Ribbon bar. "P. TELGE" Military Variant. Number 2 :- ![]() ![]() "P. TELGE" Civil Service Variant. (Coincidently the second Romanian Medal to belong to my collection, found in a Bavarian Flea-market about 8 years ago.) Number 3:- ![]() ![]() "P. Number 4:- ![]() ![]() ""P.TELGE" Military Variant, with stamped dates "1866 - 1906" and the word "MELE". Kevin in Deva ![]() |
