Gentleman: Have developed an interest in ARR medals and insignia, and would like to acquire certain ones. However, I am in the US, so it is VERY difficult to find any. Interested especially interested in Aeronautical Virtue order, Knight grade, with crossed swords and King MIchael's cipher, and Grupul 8 Vanatore badge. What are values and availability of these? Any information would be appreciated . . .

Look at my pilot badges posts on here I have a a very large collection of world wide military pilot wings badge and mil aviation decorations...I have been looking too to buy ARR decorations and Carol and Mihai pilot wings badges through Ebay and on here...sofar no success. I have many spare intl military pilot badges , let me know if interested for buying or trading Alex |

Hi Jim, ...you are a tough guy! You want to start your collection with "heavy" pieces! You must know that old romanian regimental badges are very hard to find,allmoust impossible!If I would have a G8V badge for sale, I wouldn't sell it for less than 1000 Euro!But as a collector , I wouldn't sell it at all! The price for romanian regimental badges starts at 300 Euro and there is no upper price level! Be careful, there are a lot of fakes! About the other order that you want to buy,the Aeronautical Virtue order,I would start with the golden cross grade. This grade is easyer to find, it costs (the King Michael model with swords) on ebay, between 120- 150 euro. The Knight grade costs between 280 and 500 euro.The other 2 grades are very rare and allmoust impossible to find. |

737 and where would you suggest to buy the easy ones in Rumania? As far as I know none has such available.....neither ebay does, nor any auction house I know of
