According to wiki
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Struma_disaster MV Struma was hit by Schuka type soviet submarine SC-213. Estimated 768 died, one survivor, that is still alive. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soviet_submarine_Shch-213 Later on, SC-213 hit a mine near Romanian Coast and sunk.
