Acording to Dicesare,who flew side by side with Pilozu,Polizu's plane was hit by a gunner of a Soviet fighter DURING INTERCEPTION.The radiator wasn't totaly distroyed,but was loosing the cooling liquid constantly.
Polizu was still chasing the bombers.

If so, perhaps you could convince him to fill out the blanks in the victory table I compiled and sent to him long time ago (the table was listed on this site, too).
