General de brigada Group: Members Posts: 1058 Member No.: 328 Joined: August 20, 2004	Guys I really need urgent help with something - I must find out aprox. number of german fighters that took part at the battle of Stalingrad.I need avarage number of fighters between september and 19th november 1942. As far as I know I,II,III/Jg3 were there equiped with Bf109-F4 + Bf109-G2 (at its maximum peack in october they had 99 planes), also I know some Jg52 and Jg53 units were there but I have no info on their numbers. One more thing: Did Luftflotte 4 cover only Stalingrad area at that time or was it involved also in Kuban, Crimea and such ?

General de brigada Group: Members Posts: 1058 Member No.: 328 Joined: August 20, 2004	I need to make a ratio between romanian and german fighters present at Stalingrad in mid September.I know romanian had aprox. 100 fighters, but I am having troubles with OKL - some sources place german squadrons in Caucasus while other sources say those squadrons were figthing from Pitomnik or other airfields around Stalingrad. Anyone has a map of german units structure ? (I am most interested in Luftflotte 4)
