Locotenet observator Bădulescu & Plutonier Iliescu, Exact names and unit?

Soldat Group: Members Posts: 34 Member No.: 535 Joined: March 07, 2005	Hello! I have a nice picture of Locotenet observator Bădulescu & Plutonier Iliescu Teodor Leu beside a Breguet Br.14 B2. I guess Bădulescu and Iliescu are family names, Teodor Leu the first name. Can you tell me if this is right? And what is the first name of Locotenet observator Bădulescu? And which unit they belonged (the name ofthe unit in Romanian, please)? Thanks a lot! Andrea

Locotenent Dumitru Bădulescu

He was the Romanian ace of WWI. See the thread about Romanian aces of WWI.

General de armata Group: Members Posts: 2250 Member No.: 136 Joined: November 06, 2003	According to an old post by Dragos, a plutonier pilot Theodor Iliescu belonging to the F.4 Squadron (Escadrila F.4) was involved in a fight with a German plane on 22 August 1917. At that date the F.4 Squadron belonged to the 2nd Air Group (Grupul 2 Aeronautic) from Tecuci.
