Hartmann 4 Mustangs in one mission !!!, First time against that type of planes?

General de divizie Group: Members Posts: 1386 Member No.: 319 Joined: August 04, 2004	June 24, 1944 - 4 Mustangs 2 from 52 FG and 2 from 325 FG The Mustangs were escorting B-17's on a mission to bomb Ploesti. Anyone can confirm this? Any story from Hartmann, a link to that story? ...was the first fight against Mustangs for Hartmann? Iama

Soldat Group: Members Posts: 37 Member No.: 446 Joined: January 09, 2005	From documents I have Hartmann came to Roman on 18 mai '44 with 9 Staffel of III/JG 52. Before 1st june he already had at least 6 Mustangs "dead" infos form Aeromagazin Nr.3 page 41-42
