This is what I have:
Eocene (ex-Schulau, ex-Vacoil, ex-Fort McHenry), built 1922 by Bethlehem Shipbuilding, Baltimore. 4216 gross tons, 6300 deadweight tons. 340 x 49-2 x 24-3 feet-inches, 10 knots. Torpedoed by U 431 (CO Wilhelm Dommes) while in convoy AT46, sunk at 31-57N 25-11E on 21 May 41, no fatalities, 42 survivors. |
