This is what I have:
Eocene (ex-Schulau, ex-Vacoil, ex-Fort McHenry), built 1922 by Bethlehem Shipbuilding, Baltimore.
4216 gross tons, 6300 deadweight tons. 340 x 49-2 x 24-3 feet-inches, 10 knots.
Torpedoed by U 431 (CO Wilhelm Dommes) while in convoy AT46, sunk at 31-57N 25-11E on 21 May 41, no fatalities, 42 survivors.

The Eocene was manned by my recollections during WWII by Roumanian (free) volunteers who served maybe the right course!

Ltd., London. 20.5.1942 auf Reise Alexandria - Tobruk mit 1980 tons Benzin und 3700 tons Wasser in Pos. 31.56 N 25.14 O/etwa 20 sm NO Bardia Mittelmeer durch das deutsche U Boot "U 431" torpediert und 21.5. gesunken.
