Maybe it's been made after the war. and awarded to it's pilots. Or it may be manufactured during the war and awarded post-mortem for KIA pilots. Who knows

I would rather say that the inscription on the badge comes from the name of the statue in Bucharest inaugurated on 21 July 1935. But until some source appears, we can only make speculations.

Good point. Maybe it's not a medal or military badge, maybe its just a comunist medal. My grandfather recived comunist medals just for his work. On one of the medals I remember being written "30 de ani de la eliberarea de sub dominatia fascista" (30 years since Romania was freed from fascism).

I don't think that this badge is from the royal period.The reason for this is that on the original monument,reproduced on this badge, at the base , you will find a big reproduction of the Aeronautical Virtue order!!! I think that if the badge was made during the royal period ,the Aeronautical order would be also reproduced on it.
