While waiting for the story of Ion Neculae Hagiu (the medic on Delfinul) to be published on the site, I share with you these great photographs. Everything courtesy of Stefan Hagiu, the nephew of Ion Neculae Hagiu.

The story of Ion Neculai Agiu (Hadjiu Ivan Nicolaevici) has been eventually published:
http://www.worldwar2.ro/memorii/index.php?...ge=en&article=6 We find that there are too few details according to the expected interest for such a story (we added known facts), but the article has been compiled from the memories of his grandson, since the protagonist has passed away four years ago. His grandson was very kind to provide us interesting photographs of his family collection. |
