I know for a fact the "Slovakian Cross" was awarded to some Romanian Officers, but I'm not sure how important the award was in terms of Slovakian hierarchy.

According to this site, the Slovak War Victory Cross (the third highest Slovak order) has been awarded to 142 Romanians.

The same site states that both King Carol II and King Mihai were holders of the Special Grade of the Order of Prince Pribina, the highest Slovak order. Both awards were probably made in the summer of 1940 as Mihai is said to have received the order while still Crown Prince.

In 1944, Comandor Ferdinand Drăghicescu has been awarded the Croatian Order of the Crown of King Zvonimir.

Acording to an article in Magazin istoric on Romanian-Slovak military relations, on 5 June 1942 Marshal Antonescu received the first class of the "Grand Military Cross" Order [I suspect it was the Grand Cross of the military division of the Order of the Slovakian Cross]. At the same date Col. Radu Davidescu, former military attaché in Slovakia has received the Grand Officer of the same order.

In the end of 1942 and beginning of 1943, there was an exchange of decorations between the two sides: 35 Romanians and 32 Slovaks. The Romanian awards have been sent on 10 January 1943, among the awardees being 1 general, 2 colonels, 15 lieutenant-colonels, 4 captains and 3 lieutenants.

The same article in Magazin istoric states that King Mihai has received the Order of Prince Pribina in the end of March 1943 from minister Folyak, the special envoy of the Slovak president Josef Tiso. In this light the reference above to "Crown Prince Mihai" is quite interesting. If there is no error and Mihai appears on the rolls of the order as "Crown Prince", it might be possible that either Mihai has received a lower class in 1940 and the Special Grade in 1943 or the Slovak authorities committed a diplomatic blunder in 1943. Which one of these alternatives is true?
