I have recently stumbled upon this virtual WWII aviation museum: The Rathbone Museum

In the 'Romanian section' one can find two pages with photos of airmen both from the pre-war period and from WWII as well as a page with images of some insignia worn during the above-mentioned periods.

Very nice site. This man is very nice too. He has a wonderful selection of WW2 aviation. :beer:
