Does anyone know when the romanian army started using the blue turret bands for some of their tanks?
The movie section show this on the Renault R-35 clip, one of the tanks also seem to be an camoflaged ex-polish example?

The blue band was a marking of the 2nd Tank Regiment. I do not know exactly when it was introduced. Probably in November 1939.

Thank you for that info. Is it known how long the use of this band was?
I`ve seen a painting of an TACAM R-2 portraying an example from 1944 with these bands aswell. Is it known if this is correct (say, photographic evidence exists or such)?

Yes, there is photographic evidence. Even today, the last TACAM R-2 has it.
