Yes, of course.. the 8th Fighter group was the most famous operator of the IAR 80.. was it not?
But i needed to know specifically (IAR-80, IAR-80A, IAR-80B).. - his plane serial number could help alot...

I do not know his plane's serial no. In the 1941 campaign it should have been a IAR-80 or a IAR-80A (the 60th Squadron operated both types) and in 1942 (as little as he got to fly on the front) it was a IAR-80B.
