Two Romanian torpedo boats, the NMS Viforul and the NMS Vijelia, attempted to attack the damaged Kharkov during the battle on 26 June near Constanta, but they were driven off by the rest of the Voroshilov's group.

The NMS Vijelia and NMS Viscolul attacked the Soviet destroyer Tashkent during the night of 18/19 September 1941 near Odessa and managed to damage it (Kirill or Sergey, is this true?).

NMS Vijelia and NMS Viforul were lost on 9 November 1941, when they were attempting to rescue the crew of the Hungarian ship Ungvar which had hit a mine. The cargo ship exploded destroying also the two small TBs.

On 5 April 1942, at 09:30, the NMS Viscolul assisted the Amsel (Remorcher Dragor A for the Romanian Navy) in the attack on a submarine off the coast at Cape Tuzla. Fuel was spotted on the surface. Sc-210 disappeared in that area in that period.

The Romanian TBs, did not see too much action in the purpose they were built for, because they were kept mostly on the Romanian coast, where the Soviet surface fleet rarely ventured.

Hello Victor,

If I correctly remember, at the end of August 1941 Tashkent was damaged by three German bombers (in starboard there was a breached by the area about 8 sq.m) both all September and half of October has stood under repair at a Marine plant in Sevastopol.

In fifth combat raid for operations in region of cape Shabler (position № 35) sub SC-210 has left 12.03.42. During all campaign the boat did’t connect with basis and has not returned.
In the summer 1983 the boats detected at the bottom in a point 43.33,4N/ 28.43,25E (in four miles to east of cape Shabler) and was inspected out in 1987.
SC-210 was lost, having undermined on the mine UMA of the Romanian barrage S-15, minelayer Murgescu. 47 men were lost.

Lider of destroyers "Tashkent" was damaged by german aircraft 30 Aug 1941 near Odessa and she was in repair during September-October 1941, so romanian MTB's attacked another ship. No soviet destroyers were damaged this day.
