There were many merchant ships delivered to Soviets after the WW II.
I am very interested in any lists of :
- seagoing
- riverine
- auxilary
vessels delivered to Soviets 1944-1947 and their fates, as I saw many were later returned to Romania.

Hi Andreas,

Are you only interested in Romania?

I have just got a very good book by Schwadtke, "Deutschlands Handelsschiffe 1939-1945", which, amongst many other things, will tell you all the German vessels over 1,000t taken over by the USSR after the war (and, indeed, all the Soviet vessels taken over by German from the USSR and others over 1939-45.)

Cheers,

Sid.

I am of course also interested in the German merchant fleet.
I have Schwadke and some other books.
As far I know Boris Lemachko prepared just a book about
Soviet tugs and other auxiliary taken into Soviet merchant fleet.
Should be published in Russia at the end of that year.
