Hello friends, which firearms were in the army of socialist Romania in the first years of its foundation?
(More precisely, how long haв the weapon of WW2 been in service and when did AK appear)?

I asked my father (he was sergent on Submarine Hunter) andhe told me that in 1969, the Romanian Navy 's soldiers were using PPS and some ZB. And when he went to Military school they received in 1970 AK47, brand new ,with folding stock.
I personally remeber that when i was 6-7 years i saw at my fathers bureau guards using ZB or K98, this was arround 87-88.
