Have been asking the vendors in the US about the possibility of making the Romanian uniform. I checked out Schipperfabrik to see about any updates. Paul had the following impressions before 1939 Poland and 1940 Belgium and France. He just added a Hungarian uniform set. I contacted him to see about doing Romanian (third time in a year) and he said if there is enough interest in the Hungarian then he would consider adding more. So if there is enough interest in Romanian then he'll add it. His quality is good and prices are great for coming from the US compared to other vendors. Can we drum up support for Romanian? Already said I would send him some of my stuff to use for prototypes.

Just received an email and Paul said if he can get 5 people who would actually order a Romanian impression he would do it.

Good news from this side of the world. Mailing uniform to Schipperfabrik today. It seems that us reenactors in the US will now have a vendor on this side making Romanian items as well.

Just received email from Schipperfabrik. He has the wool and buttons. Just wanted to know of any discrepancies between the reproductions already out there and originals. Looks like it will be moving along now.

here is the latest:

The tunic, trousers and hat will run around $375 for size 46 and below. Above 46 will run $405. We will try and meet your October deadline, but we are extremely busy right now. Please start having people gather money and once we have reached 5 orders, we will commence with production.

Thanks!

Here are pics of the first uniform from a fellow reenactor in Viginia. We may have also found a vendor willing to reproduce the great coat and summer uniforms. Kepi and Mihnea any help here with sketches, pictures and examples of originals would be very beneficial.
