| 67 years ago, on the night of 13/14 september 1940, after less than 2 weeks from the romanian troops withdraw after Viena Diktat from Transylvania, 157 romanian civilians were killed with cold-blood in village of Ip, Salaj country, from the part of Transylvania given to Hungary. Hungarians killed them organised, youngest romanian killed being in the belly of his mother, bayoneted on the street. Eldest romanian was more than 80 years old. I don't intend to start a discussion on this topic, nor to acuse, I want this words only to remember what mankind can do to mankind in XXth century, in the very land that we live in, so this things never happen again. May God rest their souls in peace! |

| I go throu Ip almost twice a year...it's called a martir city. May God rest the souls of the innocent that were killed there and let's hope that humanity will never do a thing like that ever again. "If mankind doesn't put an end to war...war will put an end to mankind" I can't remember who said that but...I agree with him. |

| This topic is opened for the comemoration of the victims from Ip, at 67 years from the massacre. That's why I wanted it separatelly. |

| Yes, My grandmother still remebers that night, She is from Cosnicu de Jos. She remembers how hungarian infantry along with some armed civilians(from Ip) that where giving indications to the troops |

| May God rest them in peace! Their deaths tell us the a lesson that we should not forget: the crime doesn't have never a justification, as revenge or war either have none! |
