This post is a help for Marcel Kares. Here is the content.

I am looking for photos and information about Czech riverine armored minelayers OMm 35 and OMm 36. On March 1939 they were captured by Germany (german name FM-1 and FM-2) and in 1940 were sold these very good riverine ships to Romania. After capitulation of Romanian Danube division on 26. August 1944 they were handed to Soviet Danube fleet.
I attach 2 photo and a drawing that I have.
Thanks for your help.
Marcel Kares from Czech Republic.

Hello.

No information about second the biggest ex-Czech rivering military ships? Any information in Romanian books, magazines, archives or private collections?
Probably eternal mystery.

I found something in a book:

"

Source: Viceamiral ® Victor Bogdan, "Marina romaneasca in drama anului 1940; neutralitate si nonbeligeranta", from vol. VII of "Veterani pe drumul onoarei si jertfei, ultimile marturii 1940-1945", Editura Academiei de Inalte Studii Militare, Bucuresti - 2002.

It is about some riverine patrol small ships, from Cehoslovacia via Germany in 1940. I think MaxFax can translate in a better english then mine.
