In Beius city, Bihor county, Romania, it will be started an exposition with the name "Romanian Army in the service of Unity" (Armata in slujba Unirii). The exposition will present military equipment, photos and weapons belonging to romanian army in WW1. The event will take place at the Municipal Museum of History, Ethnography and Art from Beius city at 18th october 2008, 11 o'clock. The organisers are the National Military Museum from Oradea and the Municipal Museum of History, Ethnography and Art from Beius. They invited our reenactment group, 3rd volunteer Regiment "Avram Iancu" from Oradea, dressed in WW1 romanian uniforms, to make a presentation of their equipment, weapons, drill and tactics, together with the history of volunteering for romanian army in the ranks of romanians from Transylvania, ex-AH soldiers. All history and militaria enthusiasts are gladly welcomed to this event. |
