I managed eventually to get my hands on the third issue, which seems richer in information and original photos than the previous one.

In the history section, Dan Antoniu and George Cicos, in a short article, put forward an interesting discovery regarding the early days of aeronautical projects in Romania and announce the upcoming (or is it already published?) monograph on Aurel Vlaicu. The Tavarnian project is well illustrated using 3D models.

Denes' article (actually just the first part) is the most extensive of all and deals with one of the less glamorous aircraft that served in the 1941 campaign with the ARR and one that has received less attention: the PZL P.24. I am looking forward to reading the next episode (or episodes?).

Horia has put together a presentation of the events in the summer of 1919 that led to the Romanian occupation of Budapest, in order to mark the 90 years that have passed since those events.

Longinus' piece on the Acht-Acht is very comprehensive regarding the gun's development, employment and enemy opinion about it and is accompanied by several color profiles and 3D renderings.

Dragos Puia wrote a relatively short presentation of the Fi-103, which is the paper model included in this issue.

Last, but not least, there is an interesting article about the 1st Armor Division during the 1941 campaign. It is just the first episode of a series of probably six and stops just prior to the battles for Chisinau, which will be covered hopefully in the next issue. It contains relatively unknown or less known facts about the subjects and, also very important, a large number of unpublished photos. But enough bragging tongue.gif

Overall, in terms of history, the no. 3 issue is very well represented in my opinion and is worth the read.

The three pure modelism articles: Challenger II, figures painting and ship models building tips are out of my area of relative expertise and I cannot comment too much on them.

Any other opinions on the issue?
