WorldWar2.ro Forum > Bazaar > searching: repro "Order of Carol I"

Hi together,

I am a swiss who is living here in Sibiu-Romania.

I do have a request which i am aware not all collectors do like.
I am against any business who try to sell reproductions as originals.
But, i do have no problem with the reproduction industry when they are marked/sold as reproductions.
There are people who need fillers for their collection and people like me who never will aford a original. This is why Reproductions mainly exist.
Unfortunattely for serious collectors there are some escrocs who try and do sell them as originals.
This will never stopp while serious high profits are involved.

Anyway, i try my luck.
I know there exist reproductions of "Order of Carol I".
Exatly such a reproduction i am looking for.
If somebody has one and would be willing to sell it, it wouldnt be any problem when the seller would mark it on the back with clear sign as a reproduction for future safety.

Even the chance is small, hope dies last.

Thanks
Robert Egli

Nothing wrong with repros as long they are represented as such, as for your request: I don't believe there are repros of this this particular order, maybe some fakes being sold as original but not repros. unsure.gif smile.gif

Hmmm, maybe you're right.
Wasn't thinking maybe they was done as fakes to fool and didn't got sold as repros.

Well, that makes it allmost impossible to find one.
Anyway, if somebody has a fake and wants to sell it as a repro, no problem to engrave a clear sign on the back to be marked as repro, i'd be interested to buy it.

I am a hoarder, what i have once i wont give away. Unless it gets torn out of my death bodys stiff fingers. biggrin.gif

Seriously, if somebody has a fake and wants to get rid of. Mark it permanently as a fake, and a fair price can be discussed.

Sincer
