WorldWar2.ro Forum > Bazaar > New medal/insignia/militaria shop in Bucharest...

Posted by: Von Maybach June 15, 2005 10:54 am
Hello,

Today I've just found a new (at least to me) shop specialsied in militaria, medals and insignia. I was just passing by and I had my digital camera at hand to take a few shots... in my opinion the items are amazing (amazing for a shop in Romania, for sure).
The shop is located near the "Piata Revolutiei" across the "Excelsior Theatre" (near the Senate building -hehehe - I hope no one will start complaining about the german ww2 decorations featuring svastikas) . For me, at least, is new... maybe other forum members are familiar with it.

I was in a hurry so I didn't have time to check it out... however it looks nice and the prices are right - the german WW1 Iron Cross 2nd Class was 3,600,000 lei - wich seems ok to me .

The shop isn't that new. I noticed it last year. It's near Space Club. The MV Order coat was also for sale then IIRC.

Well, if he sells fakes it should be easy to detect if you know what you are looking for. However, what is the opinion of the people of the forum who have dealt with him? I will check him out this week.
