WorldWar2.ro Forum > Small arms, Daggers & Uniforms > Identifying an old Romanian bayonet

Hello, gentlemen! I just got this rusty weapon from my cousin. He apprised me that this certain bayonet was used by the Romanian Army in WW1, but I'm still skeptical about it.

I would like to know the periods when this was in service.

Inscriptions:

D2746

CIC44 (I'm not sure if that's `I` or `L`)

And of course, some pictures of it:

The Blade is 24,5 cm long

This is a German bayonet released in 1944 (clc = Richard Abr. Herder, Solingen). Non-native overlay.
