To which division it belonged ?

58 should be a serial number and 928 the contingent year (1928) - the year the person was initially drafted by the army at 18 years.

Why 18 years he served in the army? On dog tag it is not written 928 but 926.

So, he was around 33 years old in 1941.

[Off-topic] Which was the maximal age for frontline mobilization, in Romania, during WW2 ("apt combatant", acording to nowadays formula)? Was it there a (different) age for auxiliary military service ("apt necombatant")? What about the other countries?
