hello,

in the middle are two aviation orders, Aeronautical Virtue Order Gold Cross with swords and without swords.

They were awarded to the aviators, and the people envolved in the aviation (mecanics, engineers).

Ahile

You can find more information about these awards here:

A modified version of the same article was published in the 4th issue of Colectionarul Roman:

To the left there are observer and pilot bades (wings for observers and eagles for pilots). In the middle there is a golden cross of the Order for Aeronautical Virtue (peacetime) and a golden cross with one clasp of the Order for Aeronautical Virtue with swords (wartime). To the right there are several Medals for Aeronautical Virtue (those with crown and swords are for wartime) in all classes: 1st - gold, 2nd - silver and 3rd - bronze.

What is the size of each certificate? Is the paper thick?

I have seen various types of certificates and some of them look like xerox copies. In my opinion, those that are hand-signed and stamped are originals.

Here are the mesurments:

1. 29.50 cm - 21 cm ( the paper is thick)
2 27 cm - 18 cm ( the paper isn't thick)

The former seems to be an A4 size and the latter somewhat smaller. Take a look at the signatures as Dragos suggested, but I would guess you have only copies of the originals. However, they are still interesting as they provide the explanation of the award. And, who knows if the originals still exist...

I will watch and study the signatures but I think they are copies. Thanks vey much for the help.
