Guys, I just came from a visit to a relative of mine. She found some documents belonging to her grandfather. His name was Johann Sztriska and he was the personal secratary of queen Elizabeth of Rom. Died in 1924. Some of his documents are in Latin and some in german. The photos are not great since they were taken with the cellphone. From what I can see this is the officer promotion diploma given to Johann Sztriska upon his promotion from Kadett-Offizierstellvertreter to Leutnant in the 41st k.u.k. Infantry Regiment from Czernowitz. Every officer of the Austro-Hungarian Army received such a diploma upon being promoted to a higher rank. Unfortunately I cannot see the text, but it is probably something about "distinguished service, gallant service etc.". |

No. You seriously need to get a digital camera. Cell phones are not really made for this. |
