I would like to know where I can obtain more information about Nicolae Sova, although he was my grand-grandfather, none of my relatives know about him more than it was written on this site. Thank you in advance. ***translated by admin*** |

Please follow the forum rules and post in English. As to your question, try to find this book: Ichim E., Generalul Nicolae Sova, Editura Modelism, 1996 |

Ok, sorry for using romanian language, I had no idea this was an english-only site, however I thank you for your response I am now searching for the book. As an addition, it is interesting to find out that also my great-grandfather from my fathers side also was a "Pasha"(general in the ottoman army) and unfortunately the same thing applies to him(no information available online). Since he also was invloved in WWII I hope you might also give me information about him. His name was Ali Hurky Sharaiyreh(the first jordanian minster of education, pasha(general) in the ottoman army), born in Irbid(nowadays in Jordan). |

It was always interesting, does general have a Russian surname, or not? There is book about 1 guards division (very interesting) and there is about the general Sova. |
