In February, 1945 a Rumanian reconnaissance unit(?) stationed at Nyíregyháza airport in Hungary.
I found a paper with this text:

SECTIA FOTO AERO Nr. I. COMD. signed by Lt. av. Dinescu Aurel

It was a ground photo-evaulete crew of a Rumanian long range rconnaissance unit, or another unit?

Thanks,

Csaba

The only long range recon unit that served in Hungary was the 2nd Long Range Recon Squadron, which, at that time, had been united with the few remaining Ju-88A4s from the 5th Bomber Group, and had formed a mixed bomber/recon squadron. I doubt they were on that airfield. Maybe an observation unit?

Thanks, Dénes. Maybe this unit was the part of one eskadrila observatie.
