English word "spade"="harlet/lopata" in romanian.
In fact is about the book is about the sword and the sabre/saber. I have read it and we are using informations from Karl Zeno Pinter in making our reenactment swords and sabres.
English word "sword"="spada" in romanian (from latin "spatha").
English word "sabre" or "saber"="sabie" in romanian (maybe from hungarian "szabla").
The sabres used in medieval romanian countries are similar to maghiar/hungarian sabres and turkish/persian samshir/shimshir or scimitar.
It is an useful book.
Here is a link to the online versions of some publications from Brukenthal Museum in Sibiu where you can download the second edition of the book in .pdf format and also some other interesting books.
