During WWI and later in WWI beside regimental badges it was custom to wear regimental rings too. Here is an example of that. I'm not sure if this ring is Romanian . The cypher could be of Queen Elisabeth , since she died in 1916 , and the year on the ring is 1915.

These are all nice, Aviatie, but judging from their price on Ebay they are obviously replicas (except for the 1915 ring).

Even so, I would like to buy an original or a nicely made replica of a regimental/divisional ring.

Do you know of an online store or place that sells such things?

I'm not trying to sell here. If these rings are original or not , it doesn't matter. Even if they are replicas , obviously the original is the same. Sorry have no ideea where you could find things like that (except eBay).

Oh , BTW , I forgot one more thing , you can't judge an item just after his price... obviously you have a wrong ideea about eBay. Sure , there are many replicas out there , but also genuine items.

That ring you posted from ebay was bidding for 2 Euros when I checked it. I think it's now up to 10 Euros.

Oh, and by the way, the same Ebay trader who's selling the ring is also selling a RitterKreuz for 16 Euros.

I think the way you put out the issue is not propper manner for a civilized discussion . The topic wasn't about this ring or that seller , or about the authenticity of his items.

With regard the Commemorative rings rings on Ebay, if they are on German ebay, its normal to start the bidding very low at 1 Euro, I have seen large Medal Bars / Spange with 7 - 10 medals starting at 1 Euro, the German sellers know there are collectors out there who want these items.

By the way the one with the anchor, chain, etc is a representation of the Naval Wound Badge WW1, even the large size version rarely comes on ebay.
