Hey! They're German, from Luftwaffe - thus the Swastika is the insign, no Michael's Cross!

KG - Kampf Geschwader (Bomber Squad)
I thought you were German... ohmy.gif

It always wonders me how the shades of RLM 70 and 71 greens are so well visible on models, while on original b/w photos it's almost indiscernable. What would be the explanation?

Thanks for your comments!

The modeling colors are probably not very accurate, at least the Model Master colors I have used until now. I wasn't very satisfied even mixing them them with other shades. I heard that Agama RLM 70/71 are pretty accurate so I'll try to switch to them in the future.

On the other hand, it also depends on the camera settings and other factors when the picture was taken. In your picture, the plane is against a very bright background. On other picture, the splinter is clearly visible (source: Kagero Monografie Ju 88 vol.1)

My latest build, Ju-87B2 7/St.G.77, France, August 1940.

The kit is Italeri 1/72, switched to Agama paints.

Shouldn't the nicely done weathering be completed by black smoke trace around the exhaust pipes?
