Tara Motilor - the website, mainly history, with documents

I want by this post to anounce the presence on the net of the site

as a site created to give to the interested public all documented informations that I can found in books and any documents (on paper, video, photo).

Thru this topic I'll anounce also the updates of the site, because in time it will be added more informations on it.

In this very moment one book can be readed on the site:

Added to the site photo's, black and white from 1934, 1941, 1942, 1945 and color pics from nowadays. Images from Campeni, Rosia Montana, Brad, Avram Iancu, roman antique mining galleries and others.

New book arived!

"O lacrima fierbinte" by Iosif Sterca Sulutiu, 1877 - subject: fightings in Apuseni Mountains in June 1849, eyewitness memoirs. First 3 chapters available.

Also updated with chapter 40 from "Motii, calvarul..."

can you tell me if there are any evidences regarding Carol Line fortiffications in Satu Mare county in that book?

The book include description of all length of Carol II line, including SM.

Is it possible to make a swap betwen that book and one of mine? Continue this in PM

New book on the site: "La anul 1784 si anul 1848" by Iosif Sterca Sulutiu, printed in 1881, in Sibiu.

I made available only the last two chapters, as the first ones are already to be found on the other books on the site or representing personal memories of the author, dedicated to his childrens.
