Two rare awards

Here is a pic of two rare awards (not from my collection):


The left one is identified by Klietmann as the Order of the Royal House, Knight C. However, I believe it to be the Cross of the Royal House, 1st Class, as described in the Safta book. The other is a Carol II-type Maritime Medal, war version with swords.

These are nice pieces. Make sure you inspect closely using a magnifier. Cast copies are coming onto the market. Inspect the ring loop construction and check the gilting on the crown of the naval medal. They are making gilt cast copies and attaching these to original crowns from damaged order of the crown or star orders. The gilting does not match the medal !!!!! ...and the attachment is amature in construction.

Hi , the first one seems to be the Medal of the Royal House not the order ! There is no enamel ...

I just bought the "Decoratiile romanesti de la Cuza-Voda la Regele Mihai I" book that I think is ..... because the prices are to low.

What can you tell me about the Order "Sfantul Gheorghe" some books say that the order was never given, but this book says that it was, and the book also has prices, I haven't seen one i my life, what can you tell me about it??? And what can you tell me about the Comemorative medal of 23 august 1944???
