To aviatiadasenzatia: Thank you very much for your kind assistance!

But I believe that it is a medal or a jeton.

I'm looking for this romanian commemorative jeton: "In amintirea luărei Griviţei şi a eliberărei Bulgariei 1877 - 1907".

Is the medal really Romanian? On the reverse, the Romanian text is in the middle. Had the medal been Romanian, I would have expected it to be the first.

Yes Sir ! It is Romanian , you can see on the lower part of the obverse , there is written : F. Saraga Jassy ( Iasi ). I collect medals too and trust me this medal is rare , I have seen this medal only twice in my life.

Hi all,

To Carol I: Thanks.

I think this medal is really Romanian commemorative unofficial medal or jeton.
Such russian medals were not being.
Because on the avers are portret of Romanian king Carol I and there is a mark "F.SARAGA. IASSY" below. And at last a diameter of Russian medals is 26 or 28 mm only.

In any case, I already doubt, whether Romanian it is a medal.

Whether probably to find such medal?:

To aviatiadasenzatia: Was there any suspension on your medal and was your medal silvered? Thank you.

To aviatiadasenzatia: Many thanks.
Once I had such jeton in bad condition. Unfortunately, I do not remember what size of a medal. About 45 mm excepting a susspension.

It is interesting, that on a revers of your medal there is a mistake in a writing of a word "Bulgaria" - "Volgaria" in Russian. It means that this medal was not issued in Russia.

On the images I have read PASSY, not JASSY.

Yet, what was the reason for the "unconspicuous" position of the Romanian text?
