There have been commercially available plastic models of the IAR80 for some time, but are there any of the JRS79B or IAR37/38/39?

IAR 37 is made by AZUR MODELS, but i think it was a limited edition!

Horia, are you sure?? I never saw the I.A.R. 37/38/39 in the list of models produced by Azur (however, it might be possible in the near future, given the fact that Azur is owned by Mr. José Fernandez, from TMA/Airmagazine...).
The "ancestor" of I.A.R. 37, the Potez 25 is going to be released soon - this should appeal to A.R.R. enthusiasts too, but I don't know which version will be the first: I suppose Azur will opt for the Lorraine-powered A2 version, which is Ok for anyone interested in the I.A.R.-produced machines. There is a Czech firm Alliance who produce a resin version from IAR-39. IAR 39, Alliance 72025 ® You can buy it from Modelimex for only  25,21 euro !Take a look at: http://www.modelimex.cz/inshop/pictures/st...025_IAR39_S.jpg Anyway Jose Fernandez from Airmagazine has a quite not favourable review about this kit ! The kit also received harsh critics from other quarters: a friend of mine got it from a Czech buddy and was utterly disappointed by the (according to him) glaring shape and dimensional errors!

So, then... the kit is the same we're talking about before, in short, a true mess! I just hope that Azur will release a correct I.A.R. 39 one day...  I don't have any news about the Potez 25 kit, but got some info about the series: apparently, several versions will be covered, good news because I would like to build a French TOE, a Portuguese O.G.M.A.-built machine, a Salmson-engined Spanish operated one and a I.A.R.-built one too...  |

Oh-la-la !! Quite a lot of Potez 25 kits !  I'm curious, maybe you have the Potez 25 book, edited by Lela Presse ?! How do you find this book ?! I was always thinking to buy it, but never did ! I think it is a good book ... |
