Some facts about French military missions in Romania.
The first one was during 15 October 1916 and 9 March 1918. The second one was during November 1918 and 5 May 1919. The war against Bela Kuhn Bolsheviks was, the first stage, between 16 March 1919 to 1 May, and the second one, between 20 July and 4 August 1919, date when Budapest was taken. How you can see, in second dtage of the war, the efective invasion of Hungary, there was no French mission in Romania.

That's exactly what Wikipedia says (although, as always, what Wikipedia writes should be taken with caution):
Il est ensuite chargé par Paris de combattre les bolchéviks russes en Bessarabie (1918) et les bolchéviks hongrois en Transylvanie (1919).

Sorry, but Wkipedia is wrong. I've just read general's Berthelot diary (General Henry Berthelot, Jurnal si corespondenta 1916 - 1919, Editura presa Universitara Clujana, 2000, 2-nd edition) and says here all about his missions. During his second mission, he tried to cordinate the efforts in Southern Russia, where it were 3 French divisions and 3 Greek, at Odessa. He traveled to Odessa 2 times, until it was evacuated.
About Transylvania, he made a tour (including Serbia in this trip), and he was surprised by Romanian action. In every discusion with Prezan, he tried to temperate him, and tried to make the Romanians to wait from Paris decisions. In particullary, he was disapointed and angry by many of this decisions.
If you can find the book, do it, it is very instructive about relations between French, Russians and Romanians.
