I would like to correct a little mistake regarding a name in the list you posted as a second entry of this very interesting thread (Posted: April 26, 2004 10:51 am) where you wrote : • General Amedeo II of Savoy, Duke d'Aosta, Mihai Viteazul Order 1st class by Royal Decree 671/26 February 1919; The name : “”Amedeo II of Savoy, Duke d'Aosta”” is incorrect and He should be indicated as : ‘Emanuele Filiberto di Savoia, II Duca d’Aosta' that was the Commander of the Italian III° Armata. Also, would you be so kind to check again your list and verify if the name I have stated is what it is written in your list/book ? Many thanks in advance Regards Lilo |
